Happy Baseball Engagement to Tigers Justin Verlander and fiance Kate Upton

Today is a special day in the lives of all Detroit Tigers fans as we send out the first ever Happy Baseball Engagement to baseball's superstar couple, Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander and his fiance, the gorgeous Kate Upton. 

Kate showed up at the prestigious Met Gala last night in New York City sporting a brand new engagement ring from long time boyfriend Verlander.


According to the Associated Press, Verlander popped the question during Spring Training, and waited until last night to reveal the engagement.

Verlander, no doubt a very happy man, starts tonight for Detroit as the Tigers begin a three game series against the Cleveland Indians.


As a lifelong Tigers fan, and a fan of beautiful women...especially those born in Michigan and fans of my beloved Wolverines, I can't say enough how happy I am for both Justin and Kate, who are obviously in love with one another.
