🥇🥇🥇🥇 In 1968, Bill Freehan had his finest season as a player in the big leagues, including his 5th straight All-Star Game appearance, winning his 4th Gold Glove Award, and collecting his only World Series ring as the Tiger beat the Cardinals. 

 

In yesterday's post I commented how Bill was plunked an American League leading 20 times...well, in 1968, the pitchers of the Junior Circuit hit him 24 times! 

🎯 Always wondered why Bill didn't get a HBP card instead just a plain Walk card.

✍️ Had to do a re-write after the first post so I could get it in before midnight, as my fibromyagia decided it 2as time to flair up again.
