Yesterday was the annual Jackie Robinson Day across all of baseball.

🚎 The Campanella card, my 2nd Brooklyn Dodgers player, is the first Living Set card that's not in portrait form. 

🐅⚾️ Skubal is my 23 rd  Tigers Living Set card...that's every Detroit player in the set!

Good Morning, Baseball is back and Im up

⏰️ Woke up at 6:30 this morning to watch the Dodgers and Padres "officially" open up the 2024 Big League Baseball season.

🤔 Why am I up, when I haven't done this for games in the past?

👉 Topps BUNT App, they're having a "watch party" were baseball fans chat about the game, answer trivia, and collect/trade digital cards.

👉 We received 15K in FREE coins and a cool looking avatar.

🥱 I'm very tired, but, as a baseball fan, it's well worth it!

Tigers Card Tuesday- Bazooka Bill Freehan!

This terrific card arrived just in time for another Tigers Card Tuesday! 

👉 As I was telling Jeff and Dennis on Saturday,  I was hoping it would get here by today, because, well, it's just a cool find and eBay bid winning card!

🐯⚾️ As you all know, Bill Freehan is my favorite baseball player of All-Time, since I was 7 years old, when I attended my first Detroit Tigers game ever, at old Tiger Stadium.

🐯⚾️ I couldn't believe that a card like this cane up for auction, and I was more shocked to find out that I'd actually won!

👉 I was more than happy to pay a small price for such a cool card from my childhood. 

👉 Its not all that easy to find a card of Freehan that I don't already have and, that I can afford to purchase. 

👉 I'm usually bogged down trying to add to the Boyd Binder, or add8ng cards of Miguel Cabrera and Riley Greene, and I'm lucky that I saw this auction.

Card Show Boys

 

A great time on Saturday w/my card collecting freinds, Dennis, and Jeff, at the twice a year show in my hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🚫 Not pictured- Jeff's cousin, Kevin, part of Sluggos Sports Cards

🚗 🥶 It was very nice of Dennis to make the trek from Ann Arbor to the east, braving the freezing temps, and, to give me a ride home after the show was over.

👉 He also found two very cool cards of Tyler Boyd in Jeff's dollar boxes, they'll go into the ever growing BOYD Binder today.
