Today is President's Day, the annual government holiday that honors our 16th American President, Abraham Lincoln, born on February 12, 1809, and our very first American President, George Washington, born on February 22, 1732.
The holiday always falls on the Monday in between the two President's Birthday's.
As a kid I loved two things...baseball and American History...and that included anything about my favorite All-Time POTUS, Mr. Lincoln, who, as it's been chronicled, loved playing baseball.
I came across this picture again today, from June of 2015 at a Washington Nationals game, and thought I'd share it on the blog in honor of President's Day...
President Barack Obama is my personal favorite POTUS of my lifetime...even though he's a Chicago White Sox fan.
Baseball and American History are forever entwined together..a Home Run for all of us...Play Ball!
We can forgive Pres Obama his White Sox. He is a good man indeed! Gotta love those Racing Presidents!!!
