Bill Freehan Week- Custom Card Back

For today's Bill Freehan Week post, let's look at the back of a Custom Art Card from my collection.

🎨 It's quite colorful, with an interesting signature.

🎨 I've seen only one other of these cards...unfortunately, the front isn't of Bill Freehan.

🎨 Guess Edward wasn't the actual card photo editor.

The Detroit Lions host the New York Football Giants at Fird Field on Sunday.

This 2025 Panini Score #41- Aidan Hutchinson is my latest Football card pickup (via eBay).

Tomorrow I'll post the actual card that I received (lights are off for the night).

Have a wonderful weekend, and, Go Lions!

Back 2 Back Skubal

Tarik Skubal is once again a Cy Young Award Winner.

The Detroit Tigers lefty hurler, the 2024 winner in the America League, joins RHP Denny McLain (1968-69) as the only multiple Cy Young Award winners in franchise history.

🐅⚾️ Skubal received all but 4 votes.

Have a great weekend, and, as always, Play BALL! ⚾️

Detroit Tigers Catcher Dillon Dingler is your 2025 American League Gold Glove Award Winner!

Dillon is just the 4th Tigers catcher to win a Gold Glove, joining Bill Freehan, Lance Parrish, and Pudge Rodriguez.

18 Innings.

Did you stay up and watch all 18 innings of Game 3 of the World Series last night?

Freddie Freeman continues to shine in baseball's biggest stage.

How will this affect the Blue Jays tonight?

How will it affect the Dodgers?

Looking forward to the game as well as participating in the Game 4 "Watch Party" on the Topps BUNT App.

Enjoy the game! 🇨🇦🇺🇸⚾️

Happy Baseball Birthday! Jared Kelly

Just wanted to post a Happy Baseball Birthday! salute to Jared Kelley, a magnificent artist who draws cards for the Topps Living Set each week.

Jared's card this week is Texas Rangers rookie pitcher Kumal Rocker.

My favorite card of Jared's isn't a Tigers player, as you probably think.

Topps Living Set Card #770, Fred Lynn.

Jared sent me a signed card of Fred, my All-Time favorite BoSox player.

Jared, I hope you had a great Birthday, my friend, and, well, I'm still hoping you'll be the one to draw the card of Matthew Boyd as a Chicago Cub.

One More

My beloved Detroit Tigers are heading to Seattle tonight after beating the Cleveland Guardians, 6-3, in Game 3 of the AL Wild Card Round.

🐅⚾️ Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler put the Tigers up, 2-1, with a solid HR in the 6th.

 Catcher Cards RULE!

🐅⚾️ Detroit added 4 runs in the 7th, and, after some 8th inning drama, held on for the win.
