Sure, it's only been 5 starts, however, those five starts for Tarik Skubal have led me to use him for a new post for Tigers Card Tuesday!

The Tigers ACE is a way to early AL Cy Young candidates, and, hopefully, he'll  keep it up and head to the All-Star Game in Arlington, Texas on July 16th.

Card Show Saturday

Had a quick trip down the roads of Kalamazoo yesterday for the last hour of a card show at the Kazoo Expo Center.

👉 It's been tough physically for me the past few weeks, but I wanted to make sure to see Dennis after he drove all the way from Ann Arbor. 

👉 I found a few individual cards to get, plus, I picked up a blaster of 2023 Topps Heritage from Jeff  of Sluggo's Sports Cards. 

👉 No Tigers cards in the box, but, still its always fun opening up packs of baseball cards.

💛💙⚾️ Getting JakeCronenworth cards is always a good thing.

😎 Jake is currently batting. 286, w/ 6 HRs in 42 games this season.

Blog Bat Around/Happy Baseball Birthday! Sarah Langs

Today is a very special Happy Baseball Birthday! / Blog Bat Around post as we celebrate an amazing baseball fan, Sarah Langs. 

Sarah, who's turning 31 today, is a baseball fan and MLB.com /MLB Network researcher who probably knows more about the games history than I do, even though I'm 30+ years older.

👉 On May 2, 1939, at old Briggs Stadium in Detroit, Lou Gehrig's then MLB Record of 2,130 consecutive baseball games played was stopped when he could no longer play because of his health. 

⚾️ Please, if you can, make a BBA post for Sarah today, I'd really appreciate it.

Sarah was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease in 2022, and, yet, she still smiles each and every day for us while tweeting/posting the stats that we fans need to know.
