Looking at the card, I absolutely love the photo chosen for the card, probably a Judge homer at fabled Fenway Park, and the Topps Rookie Cup makes the card an must have for any collection.
Collectors had the opportunity to vote for the #1 card last year.
The Cubs Kris Bryant was card #1 in 2016, with the Angels Mike Trout garnering the honor in 2017.
Topps Series 1 comes out this Wednesday.

I think the only thing I don't particularly care for is that card #1 is a "Future Stars" subset. I like it better when it is a regular base card, but I suppose #1 is a number reserved for a star and Judge is definitely a star.
