Collecting Goals in 2019

My 2018 goals didn't go well, so let's try again in 2019.

The hardest goal, again, will be to get my collection organized.

I have stuff everywhere, in boxes all over the place, and I really have no order to any of it.

If I could achieve any of the things below I'd be happy...

• Own one of every regular issue (base) Matt Boyd card. (Only as a Detroit Tigers player).
••.Add as many different (parallel/numbeted, eyc.) Matt Boyd cards as possible.

• Own one card of every Detroit Tigers player to appear on a 2019 baseball card.

• Add 11 new Bill Freehan cards.

• Add 59 (I turn 59 in February) pre-1980s Detroit Tigers cards that I don't have.

• Add 59 pre-1980s baseball cards that I don't have.

• Add 6 new Al Kaline cards.
•• Add one autographed Kaline card.
•• Add one relic Kaline card.
•• Own one of every Topp Kaline All-Star card.
•• Own a 1959 Topps Kaline "Youngest Batting Champion" card.

• Continue to add to my 1960 Topps set.

• Continue to build relationships with awesome collectors with my blogging and social media presence.
•• the collectors whom I now blog and talk with are all amazing people, and I thank them all for everything they've done for me and other baseball card fans.

If I continue writing I'd probably be at it for hours, so I'll stop here...if I can think of anything more I'll add them later.

Happy New Year's...and PLAY BALL!

  2. Getting organize is one of my priorities as well. Meant to do it today, but got caught up running other errands and now I'm catching up on blog posts. Best of luck on your 2019 goals!

  3. Are you collecting duplicates of Matt Boyd as well? Do you have a checklist for your 1960 Topps set build posted anywhere?
